Declaration of accessibility
Ministry of Infrastructure obliges itself to ensure the accessibility of its website in compliance with the provisions of the Act of 4th April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Digital Accessibility Act). Status in respect of compliance with the Digital Accessibility Act
The website is partially in accordance with the Digital Accessibility Act due to the non-compliance or exclusions listed below.
Inaccessible content
There may be situations where, despite the efforts of the website editors, some documents published on the website are unavailable due to:
- independent sources,
- publishing before the entry into force of the Digital Accessibility Act,
- extensive content and different people responsible for their production, which made it impossible to influence their target content and shape,
- publishing on the basis of rules adopted in another institution.
Exclusions
- some films published before the entry into force of the Digital Accessibility Act may not have subtitles or other required elements,
- maps are exempt from accessibility obligations.

In case of problems with the digital accessibility of the website for people with disabilities, please contact us. You can submit requests for unavailable information and complaints about non-availability.
The request should be sent to the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Infrastructure, by e-mail – sekretariatDWM@mi.gov.pl or by phone – (22) 630-13-50.
One has the right to report their demands concerning the digital accessibility of the website or its element, submit a request to ensure the digital accessibility of the website or its element, request for sharing the inaccessible information in an alternative form. The request must include:
- contact details of a person making the request,
- an indication of the website or its element to which the request refers,
- an indication of the convenient form in which the information can be made available if the request concerns sharing the inaccessible information in an alternative form.
Consideration of the application should start forthwith, at the latest within seven days. If it is not possible to provide accessibility or accessibility in an alternative form within this period, it should be ensured no later than within two months from the date of the notification.
In case of refusal to comply with the request to provide availability or alternative access to information, you can submit a complaint about such action.
After exhausting all possibilities, the complaint may also be sent to the Ombudsman
Architectural accessibility
Ministry of Infrastructure, Chałubińskiego St. 4/6, 00-928 Warsaw
There are two entrances to the building:
main entrance A – there is no driveway, access to the reception desk and all rooms on the ground floor of building A is possible through the electric platform and platforms folded out on the stairs. On the left side of the building on the ground floor there is a reception desk where you can receive information about how to get around the building. The Ministry’s office is not equipped with an induction loop due to the high level of interference.
entrance B – is adapted to the needs of people with physical disabilities, including those in a wheelchair and the blind or partially sighted. There is a ramp for wheelchairs at the entrance B. The entrance door to the building is automatically controlled and adapted to the passage of a wheelchair. In the main hall there is a reception desk and a security post – there is a possibility to provide help for people with disabilities.
In front of entrances B and A there are properly marked parking spaces for the disabled.
In each building of the Ministry, there is an appropriately marked passenger lift, adapted to the transport of people with disabilities, with levels marked in Braille alphabet.
The width of the doors and passageways in the buildings of the Ministry are adapted to the needs of people with physical disabilities.
Toilets adapted for people with disabilities are located in buildings A and B on the ground floor.
All stairs on the premises of the Ministry (beginning and end) are marked with a contrasting color.
The entrance to the building, the main hall and staircases have been specially marked to facilitate the movement of visually impaired people.
Ministry of Infrastructure facility at Chałubińskiego St. 4/6 can be reached by your own means of transport (each of the buildings has a car park and bicycle stands) or by public transport.

You can enter the building with an assistance dog, guide dog or an assistant.
In the Ministry of Infrastructure at Chałubińskiego St., there is a rule that employees pick up the guests from the reception desk.
